Sapiens
Many different types of sapiens exist within Mythros. Presumably, anyone reading these entries would fall under this category. Sapiens are commonly categorized into three different types: Humans, Other than human races, (commonly referred to as demi-humans) and Undead. As a human, it would not be my place to document humans in this collection, so I have elected to skip their entry.
Demi-Humans
Races other than human inhabit a large quantity of the sapiens outside of Avilan. The official term to label them is a "Demi-Human," though some members of non-human races dislike this term as its origin traces back to a long line of human supremacists. It is also said to cause discomfort as the connotation makes them sound lesser than human, which I understand and that kind of statement is not my intention with this series. I only use the term as it is the officially recognised scientific term.
Undead
Undead are most commonly defined as those who have died, but whose bodies are still animate, some undead still possess their soul and some are inhabited with the soul of another. The overwhelming majority of undead exist due to reincarnation, but some types exist due to unnatural intervention.
